Three generations named by a sixteen-year-old defendant in her genealogy session at Coimbra on 2 December 1681: grandparents from Vila Flor, parents and uncles in Verín, siblings in Chaves.
One process read from all 100 Digitarq images, with a partial edition. Kinship comes from the defendant’s own declarations and one copied confession. Her November sessions name extra uncles and an aunt that conflict with the December genealogy; those are kept as an unresolved reading. Verín lies in Ourense province but outside the Ribeiro, and no connection to other families in this archive or to our own family is established.
A family from Vila Flor catalogued in a Coimbra process of 1575–1583, with a sister, a brother-in-law, another sister and a merchant uncle living in Ribadavia.
Catalogue metadata only; documented means explicit in the catalogue description, not a reading of the damaged folios. Every relationship is stated relative to Violante, so the siblings are not drawn as children of her parents. Luís Álvares and Fernão de Álvares are not connected to any other Álvarez in this archive or to our own family.
